Firearms Fundamentals and Safety

This class covers basic gun safety and operation. Both beginners and experienced shooters will benefit from the material presented. Responsible gun ownership starts here. Register Now!

If you don't have a handgun of your own, we will provide one with one box of ammunition for an additional $25.

This class will include discussion, hands-on time and a trip to the range for supervised live fire practice. If you do not own or have access to a handgun, contact us to prearrange a loan or you may be able to choose a rental at the range. Classes are limited in size to make sure every student gets all questions answered and the attention required to make it a safe and engaging experience.

Concealed Handgun License

This is the class required by the Texas Department of Public Safety for anyone who wishes to apply for a Texas CHL or a renewal. Inexperienced shooters are strongly advised to attend the Firearms Fundamentals class first, but it is not required. In this class we will discuss safety, use of force, Texas law, nonviolent conflict resolution, carry weapon and holster options and more. Applicants will then take the requisite written exam and visit the range to shoot the prescribed course of fire to demonstrate proficiency. We will also help you recheck your paperwork to lessen the chance of rejections due to incomplete information.
